'Phantom Meadow Equine, A Nonprofit Corporation' was a licensed Non-Profit corporation registered as a charity in the State of Washington and State of California.  You will probably be able find us still listed as such.  However as of March 27th, 2011 we have un-incorporated due to lack of financial support but will continue what we do as 'Phantom Meadow Equine'

The very last horse to be saved from the killpen the month she was sold at auction to a kill buyer at age 3.  Saved from slaughter.

Buddy was donated to Phantom Meadow Equine because his owners were moving and could not take him with them. Adopted.

Bought out of feedlot at age 3.  Spinal, pelvic and other injuries.  Saved from slaughter.  He has a forever home here.
Toby - 30+
Blind poa pony gelding. Bought out of killpen and sent to a new loving home.  Spared the amplified terror that a blind and elderly creature would have had to endure transported to a processing plant.  Saved from slaughter.  Adopted.

Registered appaloosa gelding, well-trained.  Bought out of feedlot, saved from slaughter.  Adopted.
Daisy May
18 yr old, 15.2h, grey TB mare. This mare is super well trained!!!!! She side passes, goes on the bit and knows many dressage movements. She is quiet on the ground and wonderful in the saddle.  Bought out of feedlot - saved from slaughter. Adopted.
